# Statio Safety Rules

Statio shares real-time parking departure information only. It does not sell, reserve, hold, transfer, or guarantee public parking.

## What a signal means

A signal means another Statio user reported that they are leaving a spot. It does not mean the spot is reserved for you, legally guaranteed, or protected from other drivers.

## Parking rules still control

Always follow posted signs, curb markings, meters, local parking rules, traffic officers, and temporary restrictions. If the app and the street disagree, the street wins.

## Do not hold or block spaces

Do not double park, block traffic, stand in a space, place objects in the street, gesture that a space is reserved, threaten or pressure other drivers, or interfere with anyone else using the curb.

## Use tokens correctly

Tokens are closed-loop Statio participation credits. They unlock departure information inside Statio only. They are not cash, property, a parking right, or ownership of any curb space.

## Report bad signals

Use Report if a signal appears unsafe, inaccurate, illegal, abusive, or misleading. Reports help keep the beta clean.

## Location privacy

Statio uses location only to support the parking-signal flow. Avoid sharing private details in notes, and only share a signal when you are actually leaving a legal spot.
